In the course of gathering a corpus set of data about human classification, an online experiment was programmed asking students to sort a list of 25 words in 4 to 7 classes of their choice. The eperiment was self-service on the web, hanging from a class website. It included a login, the experimental page itself in which students could click and move the words, and experimenter control pages to observe the list of participants, individual results, and on-the-fly statistics, all coded in ASP and SQL.
